not true , his fans of the writter Simenon started this tribute with the first book by Simenon with Maigret , the person wich later became a rolename it self , the start in Delfzijl is a few line's and then the charature in Delfzijl move's away on request to make an statement , not to Maigret , but he save's the day , and did get his own serie , Delfzijl laughs about the atention to , but it is a great tv-serie for who love's detectives a good tip maybe for broadcasting in America , the timeframe is the fifties so that it is shot years ago doesn't matter but it is a shame that it also has this hair in the lens moment but who love's to see stained walls , type's to warn about or care about and authentic rainsound against single glass windows buy it when you can .
